My client, a global IT consultancy, is seeking a Siebel Developer. The role involves significant travel to Liverpool initially for in-person handover with our other Siebel developer, lasting at least a month, with occasional travel thereafter.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Minimum 6+ years of IT industry and Siebel experience.
2. Understanding of Siebel 6 architecture & deployment methodologies is preferred.
3. Experience across the software development life cycle and Siebel application support.
4. Develop solutions using Siebel configuration, EAI, EIM, and PLSQL.
5. Strong collaborative skills to manage Dev and SIT environments.
6. Experience supporting large-scale Siebel enterprise installations.
7. Programming skills in various languages to develop customized tools for application maintenance and support.
8. Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and vendors.
9. Assist in troubleshooting integration issues.
10. Support end-to-end testing processes.
11. Manage migration of Siebel changes from Dev to SIT.
12. Provide performance tuning solutions for online and batch integrations.
13. Possess excellent Siebel skills and a good working knowledge of Siebel interfaces and PLSQL.
14. Update technical design documents.
15. Adhere to release and change management processes.
16. Support engineers in troubleshooting integration issues.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Experience working in a Linux environment.
2. Proficiency with Siebel configuration, Assignment Manager, EIM, Workflows, Business Services, and eScript.
3. Experience with integration using EAI, VBC, web services, SOAP, etc.
4. Strong knowledge of the Siebel Data Model, databases, MSSQL Server, and Oracle.
5. Knowledge of Siebel Public Sector or related base applications is a plus.
6. Experience with vertical applications such as banking or finance modules.
7. Experience with Siebel out-of-the-box adapters, web services, VBC, EBC, and JMS queues.
8. Thorough understanding of Siebel schema and performance tuning.
9. Experience in Siebel development, including business modeling, requirements gathering, analysis, configuration, and integration.
10. Complete exposure to all SDLC phases.
11. Proficiency with Siebel Tools and client for configuration and customization of Siebel objects at various levels.
12. Excellent communication skills, both technical and client-facing.
