Job summary

Task Personnel Solutions is recruiting SIA Security Officers to work across a range of sites, including commercial premises, residential buildings, retail environments and event venues. You will maintain a safe and secure environment, control access and provide a professional presence for clients, staff and the public.

You may be involved in reception, patrols, checking access points or responding to incidents and emergencies, with a focus on preventing security incidents and handling situations

Qualifications

• SIA-licensed security officer status preferred.
• Experience on reception, patrols, access checks or incident response is desirable.
• Ability to maintain calm, professional presence on site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol premises to maintain safety and security.
• Control access and verify visitor identities where required.
• Welcome visitors and direct them to appropriate areas.
• Identify and report suspicious activity or hazards.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies.
• Enforce site rules and procedures consistently.
• Carry out routine security checks of buildings and entrances.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and patrols.
• Support emergency procedures and evacuations when needed.
• Provide visible security presence to deter theft and unauthorised access.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, site management and the public.
• Follow health and safety requirements and site procedures.
