Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a vigilant security professional to protect client premises, staff and the public. The role requires responsiveness, clear communication, and the ability to act quickly in security incidents.

You will patrol sites, monitor access, respond to alarms, and liaise with emergency services while maintaining a professional presence and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence is required.
• Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises to deter intrusion and detect unusual activity.
• Monitor and control access points to ensure only authorised entry.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies and incidents, mitigating risks as needed.
• Prepare detailed incident reports logging security-related activities.
• Maintain visible professional presence to deter unauthorised activity.
• Operate and monitor CCTV and other surveillance equipment as required.
• Provide customer-focused service while enforcing security policies.
• Coordinate with emergency services, law enforcement and stakeholders as needed.
