Job summary

Anchor Group Services seeks a Security Officer for their CEVA Logistics contract in the UK. You will patrol, monitor access, and deliver high levels of customer service to staff and visitors on a busy logistics site. A valid SIA DS/ SG license and a 5-year history check are required.

The role works 4 on, 4 off days from 07:00 to 19:00, averaging around 42 hours per week. Competitive pay is complemented by Anchor Academy training and an employee benefits package.

Qualifications

• Full 5-year employment history must be checkable.
• Valid frontline SIA licence DS or SG.
• Customer service experience and confidence to handle conflict.
• Flexible to meet job requirements.

• High level of enthusiasm and passion for security.

Responsibilities

• Protect the client’s property, people and assets by providing security services in line with AI’s and site procedures.
• Perform regular patrols and monitor site activity to ensure safety and security.
• Control access and deliver a high standard of customer service to employees, visitors and contractors.
• Complete accurate incident and observation reports.
• Escalate incidents promptly to Control Room/Shift Manager/Operations Manager as appropriate.
• Maintain professional conduct and comply with legal requirements at all times.
• Be first line support to customers and visitors, addressing queries and requests.
