Job summary

Kingdom Group, a trusted partner to Tesco, is seeking a professional Retail Security Officer to join Tesco Claypath Express in Durham. You will help protect customers, colleagues, and store assets while delivering excellent customer service and acting as a visible security presence within the store.

This role requires a valid SIA licence and a full five-year work history, with a 40-hour week, and shift pattern of Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat and Sun from 15:00 to 23:00. Pay is £13.47 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence
• Full 5-year checkable work history
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional, reliable and confident approach
• Good attention to detail and sound judgement
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Previous security experience desirable but not essential
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols throughout the store
• Act as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour
• Monitor and respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
• Complete accurate reports and maintain records of incidents
• Monitor CCTV systems where authorised
• Support store management and colleagues as required
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers when needed
• Protect customers, colleagues, and company assets
