BardWood Support Services is seeking a Retail Security Officer in Sittingbourne to safeguard staff and customers in a busy retail environment. You will patrol, monitor entry/exit points, and respond to incidents with discretion and vigilance.

Successful candidates have an SIA license, a 5-year checkable work history, and the ability to work under pressure, with fitness to perform tasks as required.

Qualifications

• SIA license is required.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Physically fit to undertake tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.
