Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a reliable Shunter Driver to join our Despatch team at Westerleigh. You will move trailers around the site using a Terberg unit, support loading and dispatch activities, and work outdoors to keep operations running on schedule.

The role requires previous shunting or lorry driving experience, a strong focus on safety, good team communication and the ability to work independently, including weekends when required. Full training provided.

Qualificações

• Previous shunting or lorry driving experience is essential.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• High level of Health & Safety awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Move trailers safely between the trailer park and loading bays.
• Carry out daily tug and trailer inspections and report defects.
• Ensure vehicles are correctly fuelled and refuel when required.
• Monitor temperatures of refrigeration units.
• Liaise with despatch, yard, goods-in and wash teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate HGV movements around site.
• Maintain clean and tidy loading bay and yard areas.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety, Hygiene and Company procedures.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
