Personnel Solutions (Midlands) Limited is seeking a reliable Shunter Driver for a 4 on / 4 off day pattern in a UK site. The role involves moving vehicles and trailers, supporting production, and ensuring safety and efficient yard operations.

Full training will be provided during two weeks, with a later transition to the regular day shift. Applicants should be practical, safety-conscious and able to work well in a busy site environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely move vehicles and trailers around the site as required.
• Prioritise trailer movements to support production and transport schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Ensure proper trailer positioning and safe yard traffic flow.
• Maintain movement records and vehicle key control.
• Communicate effectively with production, dispatch, and maintenance teams.
• Respond to operational changes and minimise delays.
• Follow all site procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping and yard organisation.
• Contribute to a professional and safety-focused team environment.
