GXO Rugby site is seeking a dedicated Shunter Driver to support the Haier Contract. This full-time permanent role offers a 14:00–22:00 shift, any 5 out of 7, with yards and trailers prepared for loading and unloading.
You will safely manoeuvre trailers and containers, perform daily vehicle checks, and maintain yard organisation while collaborating with warehouse, transport and site teams to uphold health and safety standards. We provide forklift training and a comprehensive benefits package.
Shunter vehicle ensuring smooth and efficient site operations Position trailers and vehicles ready for loading and unloading, always maintaining yard organisation Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks, reporting any defects, damage or wear and tear promptly Carry out daily yard checks, recoriding locations and number of trailers and demount boxes available for use Work closely with warehouse, transport and site teams to ensure health and safety procedures and operational requirement Operate counterbalance forklift equipment when required (full training will be provided)
