Job summary

DYNAMIC RESOURCING is seeking a PCV Shunter Driver to operate and move buses in and out of the depot at Portsmouth. The job involves guiding vehicles within the depot area and across the street to the bus yard, with on-site training provided.

Typical shifts run 4:30pm to 1:00am, Tuesday to Saturday, five days a week. A PCV licence, full UK driving licence, safety footwear, and high-visibility gear are required. Immediate start and weekly pay available.

Responsibilities

• Drive the buses through the depot and park as per parking plan.
• Fuel and clean buses.
• Maintain company standards and ensure that all records are maintained correctly.
• Complete all associated paperwork.
• Fully understand and comply with hours of work, health & safety, and working practices; follow policies and procedures.
• Any other duties as instructed by the Depot Management.

Job description

Role: PCV Shunter Driver

Rate Of Pay: £13.50 per hour

Location: Portsmouth

We are looking for a number of Shunter Driver for one of our client’s Bus Depot.

You will be required to operate and drive around buses in and out of Depot and across the street to the Bus Yard.

Basic Duties:

• Drive the buses through the depot and park as per parking plan
• Fueling and Cleaning Buses.
• Maintain Company standards and ensure that all records are maintained correctly
• Complete all associated paperwork
• To fully understand and comply with all company and statutory relating to hours of work, health & safety, and working practices, abide by all company working policies and procedures
• Any other duties as instructed by the Depot Management.

Requirements:

• Must be flexible.
• Must have a PCV licence
• Safety Shoes and Hiviz
• A full UK Driving Licence is essential.

On the job training can be provided.

You will be working from 4.30pm to 1.00am (Tuesday to Saturday) working 5 days per week.

Rates of Pay: £13.50 per hour

Immediate Start and paid Weekly.
