Go-Ahead London is seeking a reliable PCV Shunter to help keep our fleet ready for service. You will move buses within depots, refuel, inspect, and coordinate with other teams to maintain presentation standards.

This role offers permanent employment in a busy garage environment with opportunities for career progression, including driver development and other operational roles. Applicants should hold a full UK PCV licence, be able to work evenings and weekends, and demonstrate strong safety

Qualifications

• A full UK PCV licence is required.
• Experience driving large vehicles in confined spaces.
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.

• Flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely manoeuvre buses within the garage and depot.
• Position vehicles per parking plans and allocator instructions.
• Refuel and perform basic fluid checks.
• Conduct visual inspections and report defects or safety concerns.
• Move buses for cleaning, maintenance and workshop activities.
• Coordinate with cleaning teams to meet presentation standards.
• Maintain records of vehicle movements and fuelling.
• Follow health, safety, environmental and operational procedures.
