Job summary

Pertemps Bond in Bracknell is seeking a Night Shunter / Bus Cleaner to join a busy depot. The role involves safely parking, refuelling and cleaning buses to prepare them for service, and coordinating with operations to ensure vehicles are ready for daily schedules.

This hands-on night position suits someone who enjoys physical work and takes pride in high cleanliness standards. You will work with a small team during the evening and night shift (17:30–01:00), earning £15.95 per hour and

Qualifications

Valid PCV licence or experience driving large vehicles.
Experience as Night Shunter, Bus Cleaner or similar is advantageous.
Good physical fitness and stamina for manual work.
Reliable, hardworking, and flexible attitude.
Able to work well in a small team.

Responsibilities

Safely moving and parking buses between depot yards as a Night Shunter.
Liaising with operations and engineering teams to ensure vehicles are parked correctly.
Washing the exterior of buses and maintaining high cleaning standards.
Refuelling vehicles as required.
Sweeping, mopping and cleaning bus interiors as a Bus Cleaner.
Ensuring buses are clean, tidy and ready for daily service.
Following health and safety procedures at all times.
Supporting the wider depot team with general Night Shunter / Bus Cleaner duties.
