Job summary

TheSoul Group is seeking a Senior Showrunner / Executive Producer to lead the creative vision and development of original YouTube entertainment shows for a global beauty brand. You will own concepts, formats, and delivery timelines, with final sign-off on creative direction.

You will manage an external production agency, guide scripts, casting, visuals, and edits, and leverage YouTube analytics and creator culture to optimize formats that engage a wide, international audience.

We are looking for a senior Showrunner / Executive Producer to lead the creative vision and development of original YouTube entertainment shows for a globally recognized beauty brand.

The ambition is to create original, recurring entertainment formats that feel native to YouTube, engage audiences beyond the brand's existing community, and encourage viewers to return for every episode.

In this role, you will take full ownership of the creative vision, show concepts, and format development, making key decisions about what gets produced, how it is executed, and when it is ready for delivery. You will have final creative sign-off before content is presented to the brand.

You will lead and direct an established external production agency, providing creative briefs, reviewing concepts, scripts, casting, visual direction, and edits, and ensuring every production meets the agreed creative standards.

You will also use YouTube performance data, audience insights, and your understanding of creator culture to develop engaging formats, refine existing shows, and balance entertainment value with brand objectives.

A strong background in YouTube entertainment, recurring show formats, and creative leadership is essential. Experience in gaming, creator culture, and youth entertainment is highly desirable, while experience in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle is an advantage but not a requirement.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in entertainment content, including 3-4 years as a Showrunner, Executive Producer, Head of Development, or equivalent senior creative role focused on YouTube
• Proven experience creating, developing, or leading at least one recurring YouTube entertainment show with significant audience reach and measurable results
• Strong understanding of YouTube formats, content packaging, audience retention, performance analytics, storytelling, and creator culture
• Demonstrated ability to develop original show concepts, recurring formats, episode structures, and long-term content strategies
• Experience leading and directing external production agencies, studios, or creative teams, with final responsibility for creative decisions and quality
• Hands-on experience overseeing creative development, including treatments, scripts, casting, visual direction, editing, and final content approval
• Strong creative and editorial judgment, with the ability to critically assess concepts, provide actionable feedback, and improve content based on audience insights
• Experience developing brand-funded or brand-partnered entertainment that integrates brand objectives naturally without compromising entertainment value
• Ability to analyze YouTube performance metrics, including audience retention, engagement, and channel growth, and use these insights to refine or develop formats
• Confidence collaborating with senior brand stakeholders, presenting creative concepts, and defending strategic and editorial decisions
• Strong understanding of internet culture, emerging trends, online communities, creators, and subcultures
• Experience developing entertainment formats for international or multi-market audiences is highly desirable
• Experience working with creators, influencers, or celebrity talent, including casting and creative collaboration, is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with gaming, esports, and youth culture, particularly Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences, is highly desirable
• Experience within beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or adjacent consumer categories is a plus, but not essential
• Ability to provide examples of previously developed or managed YouTube shows, including links, specific responsibilities, and measurable results
