Katmex Ltd. is seeking a skilled Production Operative (Shotblast Operative) in Stockton-on-Tees to operate shot blast machines and support daily production operations. This full-time role offers a salary of £12.37 – £14.43 per hour and includes a pro-rata holiday entitlement of 25 days plus 8 bank holidays.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible, and eager to develop their skills. Comprehensive training will be provided, and a commitment to safety and professionalism is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience weld dressing would be beneficial but not essential.
• Previous experience in the manufacturing sector is beneficial but not essential.
• Experience using engineering drawings is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Follow part set up sheets and customer work schedules.
• Operate shot blast machines.
• Inspect quality of parts to maintain high standards.
