Job summary

SheerLuxe Ltd. is seeking a Shopping Assistant to join our fashion team in SW London.

You will source and curate clothing, accessories and products from high-street to high-end for SheerLuxe, LuxeGen and SLMan, ensuring alignment with each brand’s audience and tone. You will gain hands-on experience across editorial and commercial content in a fast-paced digital media business, supporting fashion editorials, campaigns and community engagement.

• You have an encyclopaedic knowledge of high-street retailers, independent brands and key fashion influencers.
• You have a strong understanding of the SheerLuxe aesthetic and can recognise whether a product is right for our audience.
• You are across new-ins, launches, trends and the products people are talking about.
• You have an excellent eye and a clear point of view when it comes to fashion and product selection.

Responsibilities

• Research new-in products, upcoming launches, trends, retailers and emerging brands daily.
• Source clothing, accessories and products from high-street to high-end brands.
• Pull together on-brand product edits for SheerLuxe, LuxeGen and SLMan.
• Identify products that fit each brand’s audience, aesthetic and tone.
• Keep up to date with fashion trends, launches and industry news.
• Support creation of shopping round-ups, trend pieces, and campaigns.
• Write product copy when required, engaging and brand-appropriate.
• Help select product imagery and ensure details, prices and availability are accurate.
• Liaise with PRs for product info, imagery, samples and availability updates.
• Build relationships with PR contacts and brands.
• Pitch product and content ideas at weekly fashion meetings.
• Support day-to-day fashion team admin and project delivery.
• Engage with the SL Community by answering member questions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with impeccable taste, encyclopaedic knowledge of fashion and a genuine love of discovering what’s new. You’ll help source and curate clothing, accessories and products from high-street to high-end for SheerLuxe, LuxeGen and SLMan.

We’re looking for someone who truly understands the SheerLuxe aesthetic, knows what feels right for each of our brands and who loves being the first to discover new-in products, upcoming launches, emerging labels and the trends shaping fashion.

Working alongside an experienced team, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across editorial and commercial content within a fast‑paced digital media business.

About the role

• Research new-in products, upcoming launches, trends, retailers and emerging brands on a daily basis;
• Source clothing, accessories and products from high‑street, independent and high‑end brands;
• Pull together relevant, on‑brand product edits for SheerLuxe, LuxeGen and SLMan;
• Use your understanding of each brand’s audience, aesthetic and tone to identify products that feel right;
• Keep up to date with what is happening across fashion, including new collections, retailer launches, trend movements and industry news;
• Support the creation of shopping round‑ups, trend pieces, product edits, newsletters and commercial campaigns;
• Write product copy when required, ensuring it is clear, engaging and appropriate to the relevant brand;
• Help select product imagery and ensure product details, prices, links and availability are accurate;
• Liaise with PRs to request product information, imagery, samples and availability updates;
• Build and maintain good working relationships with relevant PR contacts and brands;
• Pitch product and content ideas at weekly fashion meetings;
• Support the fashion team with the day‑to‑day admin and delivery of projects;
• Engage with the SL Community by responding to relevant member questions and contributing to discussions.

About you

• You have an absolute love for fashion, shopping, brands and discovering new products;
• You have an encyclopaedic knowledge of high‑street retailers, independent brands and key fashion influencers;
• You have a strong understanding of the SheerLuxe aesthetic and can recognise whether a product is right for our audience;
• You are across new‑ins, launches, trends and the products people are talking about;
• You have an excellent eye and a clear point of view when it comes to fashion and product selection;
• You are confident communicating with PRs, retailers and colleagues;
• You are highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines;
• You are proactive, reliable and happy working in a hands‑on role;
• You are creative and passionate about building a career in fashion, editorial or digital media; and
• Some experience writing fashion or shopping copy would be beneficial alongside knowledge of SEO and affiliate commerce.

Location: This role is based in our SW London office. This role cannot be carried out remotely.

Salary: DOE, but please note this is a junior position.
