Job summary

Morson Edge in Manchester is seeking an experienced Shopify Developer to join our digital team. You will build, customize and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus storefronts, collaborating with designers and project managers on a range of ecommerce projects.

You will optimise performance, handle migrations, and contribute to technical scoping and estimates while staying current with Shopify updates and best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing Shopify stores.
• Experience building bespoke Shopify storefronts, not just configuring off-the-shelf themes and apps.
• Experience with Git and GitHub or Bitbucket workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive storefronts from Figma designs.
• Optimise performance, page speed and Core Web Vitals.
• Troubleshoot issues across themes, apps and third-party integrations.
• Support migrations from other ecommerce platforms onto Shopify.
• Contribute to technical scoping and estimates for new and ongoing projects.
• Stay up to date with Shopify updates, APIs and best practices.
