Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse is seeking an experienced retail leader to drive customer service and store performance on the shop floor and in the stock areas. You will manage stock lifecycle, pricing, promotions, and merchandising while coaching colleagues to uphold high standards.

The role includes overseeing daily store operations, ensuring stock availability and loss prevention, and maintaining a welcoming, compliant environment for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a frontline retail team to deliver service and performance.
• Strong stock control, merchandising and pricing knowledge.
• Health and safety awareness and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing your team to deliver excellent customer service and strong operational performance.
• Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the shopfloor, external yard, checkouts and Goods-In areas.
• Managing the full stock lifecycle, from accurate receipt through to replenishment, merchandising and sale.
• Maintaining excellent stock availability and integrity, reducing losses and effectively managing damaged, discontinued and out-of-date stock.
• Ensuring high shopfloor standards, including replenishment, accurate pricing, planogram compliance and promotional changes.
