Pay & Hours:

We offer our Shop Supervisors a rate of £12.71 for a 30-hour workweek over 5 days, Monday to Sunday. We are open to discussing flexible working hours to accommodate your needs.

Job Role:

As a Supervisor, you will work alongside our team to prepare fresh ingredients and produce sandwiches, baguettes, and other food items in line with our standards, providing excellent customer service and selling high-quality food. You will be trained to Wenzel’s standards with opportunities for progression.

You will assist the Shop Manager in daily operations, supervise the team, drive sales, control costs, and develop the shop team to build a loyal customer base.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers and create an inviting experience.
• Receive and check daily deliveries.
• Assist with stock management and produce.
• Maintain shop displays.
• Have excellent product knowledge.
• Prepare food according to specifications.
• Ensure food and produce quality control.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
• Work efficiently within a team.
• Handle cash and operate the till.
• Open or close the shop as required.
• Manage shifts at various times during the week.
• Drive sales and minimize wastage.
• Previous supervisory experience in retail or customer service is required.
• Experience in food production is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
