Job summary
Sue Ryder Care is seeking a Shop Supervisor for our Stroud shop to drive sales, support the team and strengthen community ties. You’ll mentor staff and volunteers, uphold high merchandising and safety standards, and help source quality donated stock while promoting Sue Ryder campaigns.
The role offers part-time, on-site hours with benefits and opportunities for development within a values-driven charity environment.
Qualifications
- Experience leading a shop or team in a retail setting.
- Strong customer service and donor engagement.
- Ability to recruit and retain volunteers and manage daily shop duties.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales, income and performance against targets.
- Motivate and support the team to deliver excellent service.
- Build community relationships to source quality donated stock.
- Recruit, train and retain volunteers.
- Maintain merchandising, housekeeping and health & safety standards.
- Manage stock and EPOS processes to keep the shop fresh.
- Champion the Sue Ryder brand in-store campaigns.
