Wenzel’s the Bakers Ltd. in Reading is seeking a Shop Supervisor to lead a hardworking team, prepare fresh ingredients and serve customers to the brand’s high standards. You’ll train with the company, support the Shop Manager, and help grow the business with strong teamwork.

The role offers a 39-hour week (Mon–Sun), a pay rate of £13.00 per hour, and opportunities for progression, along with benefits such as meals, pension, holidays, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory level within retail or customer service.
• Able to lead a team and deliver excellent customer service.
• Willing to work across a 39-hour week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create an inviting experience.
• Receive and check daily deliveries.
• Assist with stock management and displays.
• Ensure high hygiene and food safety standards.
• Drive sales and minimise wastage.
• Open or close the shop as required.
