Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a Shop Assistant in Harmondsworth to deliver outstanding customer service in a secure, detail-focused environment within the Judicial sector. You’ll work closely with a team to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

You will handle tills, keep shelves stocked, assist with deliveries, and support admin tasks while maintaining a clean, safe shop. Shifts run 08:00–16:30, 40 hours per week, with benefits including free meals, free parking, and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• UK resident for the past 5 years with the right to work in the UK.
• Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Retail or customer service experience is an advantage, not required.
• Comfortable working as part of a team or alone.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and operate tills confidently.
• Keep shelves stocked and displays looking great.
• Handle deliveries, stock checks, and maintain accurate records.
• Support with picking and packing orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shop environment.
• Occasionally escort customers (prisoners) to and from the shop.
• Assist with admin tasks like answering calls and emails.
