Summary of Position

Our Shoot Captains are the core of the front-of-house, delivering the Clays experience to guests. You will manage a section of gaming pegs, guide multiple groups through the experience, and coordinate with bar and kitchen teams to ensure timely service. Previous hosting and serving experience is helpful. You will also understand and manage the bookings journey and provide excellent customer service throughout the guest journey.

Responsibilities

• Introduce the game and set guests up on the system, including guiding them on Food & Beverage kiosks and placing food and drink orders.
• Deliver the 12 steps of service across the guest journey and ensure timely food and beverage delivery to tables in your section.
• Manage bookings and guest experiences, including coordinating with the events team for group reservations and supporting corporate events.
• Provide proactive guest engagement, offer hints and recommendations, and drive guest engagement with the game.
• Develop rapport with guests to leave them with a positive memory and encourage repeat visits.

Qualifications & Attributes

• Host or hospitality reception / bookings management experience preferred but not essential.
• Food & beverage service experience in restaurant or bar settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong attention to detail.
• Ability to build lasting relationships with colleagues and guests; calm under pressure.
• Proactive, energetic, with a passion for hospitality and creating amazing experiences.
• Ability to interact with guests and enjoy delivering high-quality service.

Salary: £12.35 per hour base, with weekly Tronc service charge distribution.
