Job summary

ASTEC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving and inventory control in a manufacturing environment. You will inspect goods, load and unload freight, operate a forklift, and prepare domestic and international shipments while maintaining accurate records.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, up to two years’ manufacturing experience, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Organize distribution and shipping of merchandise.
• Operate forklift and hand truck to load, unload, transport, and store inventory.
• Maintain internal record-keeping systems and packing lists.
• Prepare and package products for domestic and international shipping.
• Tag, label, and store materials according to internal processes.
