Job summary

FM Conway is recruiting a Shipping Coordinator Apprentice to join our Aggregate and Asphalt Division, working within our Shipping Agency Team at the Gravesend site. This full-time, permanent apprenticeship offers practical in-office experience while studying for a Level 3 Supply Chain Practitioner qualification.

You will coordinate shipping activities, build client relationships, and support administration while working towards End Point Assessment. Close Date: 30/09/2026.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or above.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• Interest in shipping and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Work towards Level 3 Supply Chain Practitioner qualification and end point assessment.
• Coordinate shipping by contacting vessels, booking vessels, and liaising with port agencies and stevedores.
• Generate orders, receipting goods and resolve invoice queries.
• Provide general administration support to the Shipping Agency Team.
