SRT Marine Systems plc, a leader in international marine surveillance technology, is hiring a Shipping and Logistics Manager (Export) based in Bristol/Midsomer Norton with hybrid working. The role drives end-to-end distribution, export compliance, and consolidation of shipments to optimise costs for systems programmes.
Key focus areas include forecasting, supplier coordination (EXW), licensing, and collaboration with global teams to ensure on-time delivery and in-country support.
SRT Marine Systems plc (SRT) is a market leader in the domain of international marine surveillance technology and systems. We are a respected, established, and an ambitious multi-national company headquartered in the UK with a global customer base.
The company has a worldwide impact in the marine sector by leading the next generation of maritime domain awareness technologies "MDA", products, and systems that significantly enhance security, safety, environmental protection, and sustainability. Our customers are global and range from the largest national coast guards to individual vessel owners.
We strive to make SRT a rewarding and challenging place to work, where talented, hard-working individuals have the opportunity to make a real impact across the safety and security in the maritime and marine industry.
The Shipping and Logistics Manager (Export) will own the end-to-end distribution of SRT Systems products from point of purchase to delivery into the end user's hands; across all Systems programmes, current and future. The role drives a shift in planning and behaviour: forecasting delivery needs early enough to consolidate shipments, move eligible volume by sea rather than air, and clear customs in consolidated batches, while ensuring full export compliance throughout. Initial programme focus is the Middle East, Far East and Africa.
The role of Shipping and Logistics Manager (Export) is based from our Bristol & Midsomer Norton offices, with flexibility for Hybrid working. This role will on occasion require occasional overseas travel as required by the business.
SRT Marine Systems plc are an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive working environment for all employees and actively encourage applications from all sectors of the community.
