Job summary

Crystal Cruises is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to support the Crystal Symphony on a contract basis. The role focuses on maintaining HVAC/Refrigeration systems and Engine Room ventilation aboard the vessel with a 12 weeks on/12 weeks off rotation.

You will be responsible for repairs, detailed records, and safe operation, reporting directly to the Chief Engineer. Strong English proficiency and maritime certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC/Refrigeration systems on marine vessels.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Proactive in maintenance, repairs and safety compliance on board.
• Must meet physical and medical fitness requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC/Refrigeration and Engine Room ventilation systems in compliance with regulations.
• Perform repairs and maintenance inside and outside HVAC/Refrigeration areas.
• Maintain detailed work lists, records and logs for the areas.
• Coordinate with technical parties and departments as required.
• Report to Chief Engineer and participate in safety drills.
