Job summary
Catalent Swindon facility is seeking a Utilities Maintenance Shift Engineer to ensure safe, reliable operation of site utility systems and equipment. You will perform planned maintenance, diagnose faults, and support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise uptime and energy efficiency.
The role requires experience with HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, and related systems, within a GMP manufacturing setting.
Qualifications
- Proven fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Experience with CMMS systems and MS Office.
- Essential: HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, chilled water, purified water, cooling towers, vacuum systems, and freeze dryers.
- Desirable: GMP or regulated manufacturing environment experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe, reliable operation of site utility systems and equipment.
- Deliver planned preventive maintenance and rapid fault diagnosis.
- Drive continuous improvement to maximise uptime, product quality and energy efficiency.
- Provide technical expertise in a GMP environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
