Job summary

Ardagh Metal Packaging is seeking a Shift Technician to join the Production Team in Wrexham. You will help ensure efficient operation and maintenance of front-end and back-end production equipment, including body-makers, trimmers, conveyors, presses, coaters, decorators, LSMs, Belvac, Neckers and light testers.

You will perform regular quality checks, carry out neck diameter changes and participate in overhauls and project work while supporting the maintenance of all plant services.

Qualifications

• A time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A flexible, action-orientated approach with a genuine desire to achieve results.
• Willingness, with appropriate training, to support other areas of the business when required.
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Outlook).

You will perform regular quality checks, carrying out neck diameter changes and take part in overhauls and project work as required. Additionally you will support the maintenance of all plant services.

• 12 hour shifts - 4 on / 4 off (2 days / 2 nights)
