Job summary

enfinium is seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person to lead day-to-day plant operations and supervise the shift team, ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures.

You will train shift staff, enforce Safety Rules, conduct performance appraisals and drive development plans to optimise resource use, with a focus on safe, efficient operation and high housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Desirable: HND/HNC in Engineering or related discipline.
• Desirable: 3+ years operational and maintenance experience in power generation, EfW or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Trains shift personnel in safety procedures and equipment use; implements training programs.
• Enforces and administers Company Safety Rules as an SAP (Senior Authorised Person).
• Leads performance appraisals, talent development and succession planning.
• Directs and supervises a team to operate and maintain the facility safely and efficiently.
• Promotes teamwork between operational staff and other plant staff.
• Ensures safe operations at all times and a safety-first environment.
