Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics in Thrapston is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the warehouse team, five days out of seven, and support the Management Team in achieving contractual KPIs within budget while promoting health and safety.

You will oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensure on‑time, in‑full deliveries, drive customer service, and handle KPI reporting and invoicing processes, with opportunities to develop within a global logistics network of nearly 160,000 colleagues in over 90

• Familiarity with CargoWrite is desirable; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are made on time in full.
• First line support for customer and DSV to ensure that all issues are proactively handled.
• Support colleagues within all departments in providing an enhanced service to customers whilst maintaining and promoting DSV best practices.
• Responsible for the completion/population of location KPI's as well as being responsible for Customer invoicing processes.

Shift Supervisor
Thrapston, 5 days out of 7

Main Purpose of the role
To work with and support the Warehouse Shift in delivering/exceeding contractual customer KPI’s within the warehouse to an agreed budget, whilst driving health & safety and best practice within the operational environment.

Responsible for the operation of the Warehouse function your role will be to support the Management Team with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse. You will be responsible for a team of operators and ensure an efficient warehouse operation in achieving business targets by monitoring any issues and ensuring production targets, KPIs, and quality standards are achieved, in order to meet the requirements of the customer.

What will you be doing?
