Job summary

DSV is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for our Night Shift (Sun–Thu, 22:00–06:00) at our Mercia Park site. You will lead a team, ensure efficient warehouse operations, and drive KPI performance while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within logistics.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• IT literacy with Microsoft Office including Excel.
• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of the Warehouse function.
• Support the management team with day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Lead a team of operators to meet contractual KPIs and budgets.
• Line manage and allocate workloads for the team.
• Monitor production targets, KPIs and quality to meet customer requirements.
• Develop the team and promote a safe working culture.
• Ensure on-time and in-full deliveries for customers.
• Provide first line support for customer and DSV issues.
• Collaborate across departments to enhance service levels and uphold best practices.
• Responsible for location KPI reporting and customer invoicing processes.

Warehouse Supervisor

Nights Sunday-Thursday 22:00-06:00

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for our Night Shift in of our Mercia Park sites. The successful candidate will work with and support the Warehouse Shift in delivering/exceeding contractual customer KPI’s within the warehouse to an agreed budget, whilst driving health & safety and best practice within the operational environment.

What will you be doing?

• Responsible for the operation of the Warehouse function.
• Supporting the Management Team with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse
• Responsible for a team of operators and ensuring an efficient warehouse operation in achieving business targets.
• Provide line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers.
• Monitoring any issues and ensuring production targets, KPIs, and quality standards are achieved, in order to meet the requirements of the customer.
• Develop the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards, whilst fostering a culture of working safely.
• Day to day responsibility for the running of the contract in a customer service capacity.
• Meet the customer’s operational requirements.
• Ensure deliveries are made on time in full.
• First line support for customer and DSV to ensure that all issues are proactively handled.
• Support colleagues within all departments in providing an enhanced service to customers whilst maintaining and promoting DSV best practices.
• Responsible for the completion/population of location KPI's as well as being responsible for Customer invoicing processes.

About You

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within logistics
• Good organisation skills and effective time management
• IT Literate in Microsoft Office
• Problem solving
• Understanding of CargoWrite is desired, however training can be given
