Job summary

Owen Daniels in Minworth is seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to lead the Cell Spacer assembly process and shift team in a fast-paced FMCG environment. The role focuses on achieving production, quality and delivery targets, with OEM support during initial equipment development.

You will coach and mentor the shift team, drive continuous improvement, maintain 5S standards and ensure safe changeovers, fault-finding and problem solving within the department.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or people management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of injection moulding and assembly processes.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities.
• Excellent communication and people skills to coach and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Cell Spacer assembly process and shift team to meet production, quality and delivery targets.
• Manage Health & Safety within the department and implement improvements.
• Coach and mentor the shift team to support morale and engagement.
• Develop understanding of new equipment, process inputs/outputs and machine parameters.
• Oversee tool changes safely and within required timeframes.
• Support fault-finding, corrective actions and customer quality issues, including 8D investigations.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards and drive continuous improvement.
