Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC is hiring a Shift Operations Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations on a Monday–Friday shift in Huntingdon. The role focuses on safety, efficiency and legal compliance across warehouse, transport and operational support activities.

The successful candidate will manage a team, allocate workloads, monitor KPIs and ensure high service levels while upholding health and safety standards. CPC qualification and 2+ years in a supervisory role are preferred.

Qualifications

• Transport Manager CPC qualification.
• Experience in streamlining daily operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and service levels.
• Experience and skills to improve team engagement and performance levels.
• Able to analyse workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Able to solve problems and tackle challenges with speed and precision.
• Proven experience of at least 2 years within operational or supervisory roles, leading diverse teams.
• IOSH qualification (Desirable).
• O’license holder experience (Desirable).
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse and transport home delivery environment (Desirable).
• Proficiency in transport, warehouse and stock control management systems and tools (Desirable).

Responsibilities

Contract Type: PERMANENT

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday (no weekends)

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Shift Operations Supervisor/Manager to lead day-to-day operations during an assigned shift, ensuring that our people, processes and resources are working safely, efficiently and effectively.

Working as part of the site leadership team, the Site Operations Supervisor leads the day-to-day operation during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, efficient and legally compliant execution across warehouse, transport and operational support activities.

You will be a confident and organised supervisor who can motivate a team and remain calm under pressure. You will have strong communication skills, a practical approach to problem-solving and a genuine commitment to maintaining high operational standard
