Job summary

Lancashire Renewables Ltd. is seeking a Shift Mechanical Technician to join the Maintenance team at our Thornton facility.

You will maintain waste facility processing assets, mechanical systems, and site infrastructure, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal performance. The role requires hands-on expertise with mechanical engineering, with training provided where needed; benefits include a contributory pension, life cover, and PPE supplied.

Qualifications

• ONC/HNC Mechanical Engineering qualification or the equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of preventative, predictive & lifecycle maintenance activities.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain waste facility processing assets and mechanical systems.
• Support planned and reactive maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Care for general site infrastructure and related activities.
