Lancashire Renewables is hiring a Shift Mechanical Technician at our Leyland facility to maintain waste processing assets and mechanical systems. You will support planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and safe operations across our sites in Leyland and Thornton.
Desirable candidates have experience with centralised maintenance systems and SCADA operations, plus training in confined spaces, height work, or similar safety courses.
As a Shift Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the waste facility processing assets, mechanical systems, and general site infrastructure. Supporting both planned and reactive maintenance work related activities to ensure the optimal performance and condition of the waste facility.
ONC/HNC Mechanical Engineering qualification or the equivalent experience with supporting qualifications.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Maintenance team at Lancashire Renewables Ltd. working at our Leyland facility., Lancashire Renewables Ltd was established for the operation and management of the two waste treatment facilities built for the Lancashire Waste Contract.
Our two facilities in Thornton and Leyland are manned 365 days a year. Both sites can process over 5,000 tonnes of residual (black bin bag) waste per week and divert 95% of this material away from landfill.
