Lancashire Renewables Ltd is seeking a Shift Mechanical Technician to maintain waste facility processing assets and mechanical systems at our Leyland site. You will support both planned and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the facility's operations.
The role requires an ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, plus knowledge of preventative and lifecycle maintenance.

As a Shift Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the waste facility processing assets, mechanical systems, and general site infrastructure. Supporting both planned and reactive maintenance work related activities to ensure the optimal performance and condition of the waste facility.

Lancashire Renewables Ltd was established for the operation and management of the two waste treatment facilities built for the Lancashire Waste Contract.
Our two facilities in Thornton and Leyland are manned 365 days a year.Both sites can process over 5,000 tonnes of residual (black bin bag) waste per week and divert 95% of this material away from landfill.
Our aim is to achieve a sustainable future for Lancashire by providing services to process biodegradable and non-biodegradable household waste and our people are vital in helping us achieve this.
