Job summary

CL Recruitment Group is seeking a Shift Mechanical Engineer to oversee mechanical systems during assigned shifts, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency in our facilities. You will monitor production, diagnose issues, and lead maintenance activities across conveyors, pumps, motors, and related equipment.

The role requires hands-on PLC troubleshooting, welding skills, and strong English communication to coordinate with teams and other departments. Prior supervisory experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical components and schematics.
• Hands-on PLC troubleshooting and automation understanding.
• Supervisory or leadership experience with technicians.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate mechanical systems across shifts to maintain production.
• Diagnose issues using schematics and manuals; implement solutions to reduce downtime.
• Lead maintenance activities including inspections, repairs, and upgrades of conveyors, pumps, and motors.
• Interpret PLC schematics and troubleshoot faults.
• Perform welding repairs as needed.
• Maintain logs and reports for compliance and continuous improvement.
