As Shift Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our production goals, supporting your team, and ensuring operations run smoothly, safely, and sustainably. You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, lead continuous improvement projects, and help shape the culture on-site

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading, coaching and motivating your shift team to meet safety, quality, and production targets
• Managing day-to-day operations, ensuring resources are used effectively and efficiently
• Driving a strong Health & Safety culture, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards
• Identifying and delivering improvements in processes, energy use, waste reduction and team development
• Championing a “right-first-time” mindset and embedding a continuous improvement approach
• Collaborating with wider site leadership to achieve business objectives and drive performance
• Taking responsibility for HR matters, team performance and development
• Acting as a key contact and decision-maker when deputising for the Production Manager

What we’re looking for:

• A proactive leader with proven supervisory or managerial experience
• Operational experience in a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Skilled at building relationships, resolving conflict and fostering team collaboration
• Confident using IT systems and data to drive performance
• IOSH Managing Safely, IEMA, or other relevant qualifications are a bonus – but not essential
• Flexible, self-aware, and always looking for smarter, safer, more efficient ways of working
