Compensation: £13.00 / hour

Description

We are looking for a full or part-time passionate, energetic Shift Manager to help lead our new Guildford fresh pasta restaurant. This role involves creating exceptional dining experiences, overseeing operations, and embodying our passion for authentic Italian cuisine. Join us in a vibrant environment with fresh pasta in the window, Italian music, pasta-making classes, and more.

As Shift Manager, you will lead by example, manage shifts, motivate staff, ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety, engage with guests, and support the team in delivering a memorable dining experience. You will also be involved in staff training, scheduling, cash handling, and contributing to cost control and safety checks.

Who you are:

• Experienced in hospitality, ideally as a Shift Manager or similar role.
• A natural leader with positive energy and motivational skills.
• Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills.
• Calm under pressure and able to handle stressful situations.
• Passionate about food, hospitality, and delivering excellent service.
• Supportive team player with a growth mindset.
• Bonus: experience in coffee, wine, or pasta is advantageous.
