Job summary

Greggs Lincoln is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the shop when the Manager isn’t around, motivate the team and ensure customers have an amazing experience whether in-store or online. You’ll engage staff, maintain standards and help deliver a brilliant customer journey on every shift.

Typical duties include preparing products, stocking displays, serving customers quickly and kindly, and keeping the shop clean and presentable. The role runs 4pm–9pm with permanent contract terms.

Qualifications

Reliable with natural leadership abilities
Previous team supervisory experience in a similar, customer-focused environment

Responsibilities

Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop
Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
Ensure our displays are fully stocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
Keep the shop looking clean, tidy and presentable

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:
