Job summary

Greggs plc in Wyberton is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a busy shop floor, inspiring the team to deliver outstanding customer service and ensuring the store runs smoothly in the absence of the Store Manager.

You'll supervise, train and motivate colleagues, maintain high standards of cleanliness and product preparation, manage stock and displays, and respond to customer needs with a fast, friendly approach across in-store and online ordering channels.

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.As part of the management team, you’ll be responsible for looking after the shop when the Manager isn’t around. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.We serve our customers across a number of different channels; in-shop, delivery, Click + Collect and drive thru. You'll lead the way in making sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shopLead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly mannerPrepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovensEnsure our displays are fully stocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customersKeep the shop looking clean, tidy and presentable
