Greggs in Darlington is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the shop when the Manager isn’t around, motivating the team and ensuring customers have a brilliant experience across in-store, delivery, Click+Collect and drive-thru.

As part of the management team you’ll inspire the team, serve customers fast and friendly, and manage ovens and displays. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• You’ll be reliable and demonstrate natural leadership abilities, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• You’ll be supportive of an inclusive culture and value diversity in the workplace.
• Previous team supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Inspire the team to deliver excellent results and maintain the shop standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers in a fast, friendly manner.
• Prepare products, including sandwiches and managing ovens.
• Ensure displays are fully stocked with a wide range of options.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy and presentable.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
