Job summary

Greggs in Harrogate is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a team and ensure excellent customer service across shop, delivery and online channels. You will cover shifts when the manager isn't present, motivate staff, and uphold high standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role involves preparing food, managing ovens, stocking displays, and maintaining a clean, welcoming shop. Flexible shift patterns and competitive pay are offered.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver excellent standards in the shop.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
