Job summary

Greggs in Staines-upon-Thames is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a shop team and ensure exceptional customer experiences across in-store and online channels. You’ll oversee shifts when the Manager isn’t present, motivate staff, and maintain high standards while ensuring products are prepared and available to customers.

The role focuses on delivering a brilliant customer experience across in-store, delivery, and online ordering, with a supportive team culture and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a customer-focused environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Previous supervisory experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver results and maintain high shop standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers quickly and warmly.
• Prepare sandwiches and manage ovens.
• Keep displays stocked and shop tidy.
• Ensure a clean, presentable shop at all times.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
