Due to our ongoing growth, we are excited to offer two opportunities for Shift Managers to join our growing multiuser site in Southampton. While working with us, you will oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse, prioritising colleague wellbeing, health, and safety. & overseeing operational KPIs are met

This is a full-time, permanent role, working on a shift pattern of Monday – Friday working hours, with working on weekends on a rota basis. We have available either an AM shift 7am – 3:30pm or a PM Shift 1:30pm-9pm

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of £35,000 to £37,000-, and 25-days annual leave, plus bank holidays. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Provide best possible employee relations through positive leadership, encouragement, motivation, regular communication and respect
• Managing agency staff requirements; ensuring that resource is planned effectively in line with volume forecast and KPIs
• Responsible for owning the headcount tracker for the relevant client(s), providing daily updates to all stakeholders
• Responsible for compiling and submitting operational data (planned and actual) to relevant internal stakeholders at agreed times and dates
  
  
  

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues ideally within a E-com operation
• Strong IT skills, including warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Problem solving – reacts quickly & appropriately to issues, follows up in a timely manner
