Job summary

Greggs plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the shop when the Store Manager isn’t around. You’ll motivate the team, deliver an excellent customer experience, and oversee operations across in-store, delivery, Click + Collect and drive-thru channels.

Typical duties include inspiring the team to maintain high standards, serving customers quickly and politely, preparing products, keeping displays fully stocked, and ensuring the shop stays clean and presentable.

Qualifications

• Previous team supervisory experience in a similar, customer-focused environment is preferred.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and leading by example.
• Reliable with natural leadership abilities.

Join us as a Shift Manager and you'll be part of a team that loves putting customers first. As part of the management team, you'll be responsible for looking after the shop when the Manager isn't around. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job. We serve our customers across a number of different channels; in-shop, delivery, Click + Collect and drive thru. You'll lead the way in making sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online. While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fully stocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean, tidy and presentable

You'll be reliable and demonstrate natural leadership abilities, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
