Job summary

Greggs Leigh Park is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the shop when the Store Manager isn't around, engaging the team and ensuring they have what they need to do an amazing job. The role is based at Greywell Road Leigh Park in the Retail South East region.

You will be responsible for inspiring the team, serving customers in a fast, friendly manner, preparing sandwiches and managing ovens, keeping displays stocked, and maintaining a clean, presentable shop.

Qualifications

• Reliable with natural leadership abilities.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Previous team supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shop in the manager's absence.
• Inspire and develop the team to maintain standards.
• Prepare products including sandwiches and manage ovens.
• Ensure displays are stocked and the shop is clean and presentable.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
