Greggs in Johnstone is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a busy retail shop. You will step in when the Manager isn’t present, motivate the team and ensure customers have an excellent experience whether they shop in-store or via delivery channels.

You’ll oversee shift operations, inspire staff to meet high standards, supervise staff, prepare products, and maintain clean, well-stocked displays while guiding colleagues to deliver fast, friendly service.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory roles within customer-focused environments.
• Strong people-management and communication skills.
• Demonstrates reliability, initiative and a proactive approach to customers.

Responsabilités

• Inspire the team to deliver great results and maintain shop standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers quickly and politely.
• Prepare products, including sandwiches, and manage ovens.
• Keep displays fully stocked with a wide range of options.
• Ensure the shop remains clean, tidy and presentable at all times.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
