Job summary

Greggs in the West region is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the shop when the Manager isn’t around, motivate the team and ensure colleagues have what they need to do an amazing job.

You'll support in-shop, delivery, Click+Collect and drive-thru orders, and help create a brilliant shopping experience for customers whether they order in store or online.

Typical duties include inspiring the team, serving customers quickly, preparing sandwiches, and keeping displays stocked, clean and presentable.

Qualifications

• Must have previous supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Strong leadership and team-motivation abilities.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the shop's excellent standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers in a fast, friendly manner.
• Prepare our products, including sandwiches and managing the ovens.
• Ensure displays are fully stocked with plenty of choice for customers.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy and presentable.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop

• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
