Greggs in Hamilton is seeking a Shift Manager to join our Retail team. You will oversee the shop when the Manager isn’t available, motivate the team, and ensure excellent customer service across in-store, delivery, and online orders. You’ll lead shifts, maintain standards, and help with product preparation and display stock.

The role offers a range of benefits and a 30-hour contract, with a pay rate of £14.00 per hour (including a 20p increment). Closing date is 25 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Reliable with leadership abilities and passion for customer service.
• Able to meet shift availability as required.

Responsabilités

• Inspire the team to deliver great results and maintain the shop standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers quickly and politely.
• Prepare products, including sandwiches and manage ovens.
• Keep displays stocked and the shop clean and presentable.

As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.

We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.Y ou'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.

While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
